“I joined Cockburn MAT in September 2019 as a Finance Assistant. I was allocated a mentor who supported me through my first year and is still someone that I can turn to for advice.
After spending a year as a Finance Assistant, I was offered the opportunity to progress and become a Senior Administrator in another MAT school. I was so pleased to be offered this role as I had discussed my future aspirations at my initial interview and my interviewer had taken note and thought of me when the role became available.
Working for the MAT means that there is plenty of opportunity to better oneself through the CPD that is on offer through various channels and also as roles become available throughout the MAT.”
